We can manage project costs throughout the build. We start by producing a detailed scope of works for contractors to price against and then assist and advise you when selecting a contractor. We will oversee and approve any variations to the scheme once on site and issue payment certificates against valuations so you know you are getting the correct work for your money. Once the project is over we will analyse where money could have been saved or where larger budgets need to be allowed and incorporate these findings into your next scheme.

We will visit site regularly and act as primary contact between the trades on site and project stakeholders. Our purpose as project managers is to assist in delivering your project on time and within budget, our extensive experience in delivering successful schemes for both residential developers and high end retail clients is testament to the importance of project management on cost and time sensitive contracts.

Health and Safety is playing an ever important role in the way we undertake construction projects and will only increase in the future. Como are committed to the highest standards of health and safety across all our projects and ensure that staff are trained and qualified to advise on these matters. We can act as both CDM consultants and Principle Designer to help you meet your responsibilities as a client. Construction Phase Plans, RAMS, Designers Risks, O&M Manuals and Site Audits are just a few of services we offer in this sector.
- Building Surveys
Como are fully recognised by the Construction Industry Council, UK funding agencies and the Council of Mortgage Lenders to monitor building work and provide a lender's Professional Consultant's Certificate
- Condition Reports
Whether you are buying a new home, moving business premises or taking on a lease, Como can provide a full photographic condition report for your property. We will inspect and record all defects, both structural and cosmetic, and provide you with a clear report on the current condition of your buidling.
- Insurance Works
At Como we have years of experience in dealing with insurance companies and loss adjustors on behalf of our clients. We will take on the role of Clients Representative and liaise with all parties to ensure that remedial works are completed on time and to a high standard. Insurance claims are often daunting for the consumer so we aim to provide independant, honest and clear advice on how to complete the claim process.
