- Feasibility Studies
If you have a project in mind but are unsure as to how best proceed, let us help. We can look into the local planning history and policies to determine chances of approval, research previous change of use approvals and market data for retail stores and put together estimated timescales and costs so you know what to expect.
- Planning Applications
At Como we pride ourselves on working with the client at all stages of the planning process. We can work with you from pre-application advice right through to the appeals and committee process. Over the years we have worked alongside a number of specialist tree, bat and ground surveyors who can assist when needed.
- Building Regulations
Our knowledge of building regulations spans across all sectors, from conservatories to shopping centres and everything in between. We can tailor your plans to ensure all relevant regulations are achieved in a painless manner, we also work closely with a number of approved inspectors who we have built a relationship of trust with over the years.
- Cost Consultancy
We can manage project costs throughout the build. We start by producing a detailed scope of works for contractors to price against and then assist and advise you when selecting a contractor. We will oversee and approve any variations to the scheme once on site and issue payment certificates against valuations so you know you are getting the correct work for your money. Once the project is over we will analyse where money could have been saved or where larger budgets need to be allowed and incorporate these findings into your next scheme.
- Project Management
Project management comes in all shapes and sizes. At Como we believe in taking a 'hands on' approach to management. We will visit site regularly and act as primary contact between the trades on site and project stakeholders. Our purpose as project managers is to assist in delivering your project on time and within budget, our extensive experience in delivering successful schemes for both residential developers and high end retail clients is testament to the importance of project management on cost and time sensitive contracts.

Health and Safety is playing an ever important role in the way we undertake construction projects and will only increase in the future. Como are committed to the highest standards of health and safety across all our projects and ensure that staff are trained and qualified to advise on these matters. We can act as both CDM consultants and Principle Deisgner to help you meet your responsibilities as a client.
